The BG CURAFDB6A is an Arc Fault Detection device that provides additional protection for prevention of fire from eelctrical arc fault. Type A AFDD's detect electrical arcing faults that MCBs, RCDs and RCBOs cannot detect. The CURAFDB6A is a B curve model size 6A 30mA.
This Arc Fault Detection Device has technology which is extremely effective against fires which may be caused by electrical arching faults.These faults are typically caused by damaged or crushed cables, poorly terminated connections, the degrading of the cable insulation allowing current to leak betwen the electrical conductors and rodent damage.
